The O’Neil  girls of Jamaica Plain well-known entertainers in Greater Boston, will perform in the forthcoming minstrel show of St. Mary’s parish. The ten girls ranging in age from four to twenty years, have appeared in many shows in this area, and been featured in Boston’s Easter parade for years. Last year they took part in the Easter parade in New York and appeared on TV several times a guest appearance on the Today Show with Dave Garroway and on Ed Sullivan’s Boston Show, “Toast of the town.”

We took American tap dancing from Gertrude Dolan for a number of years at her studio on Dudley Street, Roxbury. She was a great teacher and inspiration to all of us. “Here’s “Easter Parade”Allen with Robin Morgan and the ten O’Neil sisters of Jamaica Plain. TEN O’NEIL SISTERS MAKE CHORAL GROUP The 10 daughters of Mr. and Mrs. Daniel O’Neil of Jamaica Plain rehearsing songs they will sing in the Archbishop Cushing charity show in John Hancock Hall tonight. Rudolph Pepin, Mission Church, Roxbury, choirmaster is their accompanist. Frances 2, seems to sing best with a finger in her mouth.
