Archbishop Richard Cushing
was a friend of our family. We took American tap dancing from Gertrude Dolan for a number of years at her studio on Dudley Street, Roxbury. She was a great teacher and inspiration to all of us. “Here’s “Easter Parade”Allen with Robin Morgan and the ten O’Neil sisters of Jamaica Plain. A little while after this picture was snapped, WNAC-TV viewers say Steve got down on his knees to talk with little Frances, 3 years old.” A favorite song of ours, of course!
